As a pagan, i dislike when other pagans try to operate their political motives based on their beliefs. My paganism is for me and me alone, what i do in my free time and how i practice has nothing to do with the political movements that im a part of. I also dont believe in trying to sciencify paganism with buzzwords about "biological cosmology" or whatever. Like science exists as a separate thing to mt pagan beliefs. And i do believe in science as well, it tells us heaps about the world around us and grounds a fundamental understanding of the universe. For me paganism is about philosophy and developing a spiritual connection with the natural world. I do not think everyone needs to do this to live a healthy life, but it provides me with comfort and connectedness. These are social things, and individual ritualistic behaviors, they have nothing to do with science or the world beyond your own perception

To be fair to Assange, if you're tortured by the US for several years, and then another regime is nice to you and gives you money, I can understand how you can become pro-Russian.
